Kanto Tactics best comps

The strongest teams we found, reroll and level 8, by making 5,416,640 fights in Kanto Tactics' own battle engine. Each team links to its board, items, how to build it and what it loses to. Game build of October 17, 2026.

Reroll comps · level 7, three 1–2 cost Pokémon at 3★

The strongest boards in the game's engine. Stay low, refresh for copies, then level.

Level 8 comps · 2★ boards with 4-cost carries

If your 3★s don't come, level up instead. These were searched and ranked against other level-8 boards.

Win rate = share of fights won against the 30 strongest boards of the same style, both sides of the board, several random seeds. Tier S, A, B… follow that number. A finished reroll board beats most level-8 boards: each comp page shows how it does against the other style. How the search works.

Where to play Kanto Tactics

Kanto Tactics is free and runs in the browser at einoow.com/kanto-tactics, on desktop and mobile. No download and no account needed (an Einoow account only saves your progress to the cloud). It was made by the Spanish developer Einoow and came out on October 14, 2026. The game is in Spanish, English, Portuguese, Japanese, French and Chinese.

It plays like Teamfight Tactics with the 151 Kanto Pokémon: buy Pokémon in the shop, merge 3 copies into an evolution, stack types for synergy bonuses and let the board fight on its own. There are three modes:

  • Campaign: 38 stops from Route 2 to the Champion, 8 Gym Leaders, the Elite Four and a secret Mewtwo fight.
  • Battle Tower: endless floors, a boss every 10 and legendary floors.
  • PvP (beta): 8-player online lobbies with ranked leagues from Boulder to Champion.
Kanto Tactics first fight on Route 2: Bulbasaur and Squirtle against a wild Geodude on the hex board
The first fight of a campaign run on Route 2. Shop at the bottom, bench above it, synergies top left.
